Wow 2019 flew right on by! We hope our readers had just as an amazing year as we did. Despite all the negativity in the news, we are proud of some very positive things we accomplished and the partners, clients, and associates who took the journey with us this year.
DCWarehouse and DCMobile Development
Our development team was busy! We had eight new software releases with many new distribution, shipping, and supply chain features added. These releases are simple to install, test, and deploy. New features come from valuable client recommendations and development work which we decide to include in our standard software application so that everyone has access. Many of these features are incredibly beneficial for all clients to implement.
Highlights include enhancements to make International Shipping easier, an optional integration with Amber Road, 2D bar-coding functionality, a new feature which allows you to process work order completion from wireless devices, and much more. We also obtained our European Certification with FedEx®! You can learn more about all software release highlights in detail here.
Client Success
We are so proud of the work our clients did this year! Many existing clients upgraded our software and their infrastructure, deployed new features, and added new users due to growth. We also had to honor of on-boarding several new distribution and manufacturing clients and were able to take them live this year!
First Annual Customer Summit
Our Sales and Marketing Team worked hard this year planning our first ever Customer Summit in beautiful Estes Park, Colorado which was a huge success! Not only did we see lots of deer and wildlife blended into an ideal location, we had some excellent sessions from our team and valued sponsors. Of course it’s always nice to see our customers in person too and enjoy the general camaraderie with like-minded people. We were delighted that many of our clients and vendors brought their significant others to take advantage of this gorgeous location and make a mini-vacation of it. You can check out all the details in our Post Summit Recap here.
Updated Training in St. Louis
With so many customers growing this year, we had eight companies come back to St. Louis for updated training. It was an exciting year for them as their operations expand and they made the decision to implement even more automation in their plants and warehouses.
DCSC Initiatives
And finally, we added several new team members to our own growing company, started a weekly Twitter Chat #USAMfgHour with several social media colleagues, and I personally visited over nine states on business and personal travel. Whew what a year!
