ICYMI – We Recorded the DCWarehouse Customer Update for You
Our team continues to improve the DCWarehouse Automation Suite with critical supply chain, manufacturing, and distribution features. Our commitment to our clients is to continue providing value with critical features built into the solution. If you missed the update, you can review it here.
We’ve listed the highlights of the upcoming releases below.
DCWarehouse Automation Version .053
- FedEx Discount Shipment Rates – Changes have been made to the FedEx rating to support updated discount shipment rates.
- New Move Materials Option—Require Bin and UPC Scan—Updates have been made to the Manufacturing Move Materials process for Require Bin and UPC Scan. By forcing your team to scan both pieces of information, you will ensure that they correctly move the necessary materials from the correct bin.
- Inventory Issue and Inventory Adjustments Change—The RF Inventory Issue and Inventory Adjustments tasks have been changed to allow the Stock UOM to be defaulted for the user.
DCWarehouse Automation Version .054
- Labor Tolerance Validation—Changes have been made to support manufacturing labor tolerance for progress and labor steps. This will be helpful if all labor steps are tracked using the Start Job/Stop Job task.
- Truckload Manager Screen updates—This screen has been changed to display more information related to the customer and ship-to address, giving the user more information to view easily.
- Import and Deletion of Bins task update – The import/delete bins older task has had an upgrade. You can now determine the type of bin when importing, such as Fixed, Staging, etc. This can also automatically be updated to the Setup Special Bins task in entering carts/intermediate bins for manufacturing processing. Other features have also been added on the deletion side to automatically remove old carts from the Setup Special Bins tasks easily from this menu.
- FedEx Changes—More details will be discussed during the update, but this will include all new features and available options added with the FedEx updated API. As you may be aware, there is an updated JSON SCHEMA. JSON is a text-based format designed to represent structured data, allowing for seamless data transfer between systems and applications. It will replace the XML API tools.

Banyan Technologies Integration Updates
Many of you are reevaluating your supply chains post-COVID to avoid the disruptions you may have experienced during the pandemic. We aim to support the latest versions and continue to work on our integration with Banyan, which allows you to automatically shop freight carriers, book loads, and print the appropriate shipping documents. The automation saves you manual processing time on freight rate shopping and fulfillment, and there is a significant savings potential when you work with multiple freight companies.
