Our team continues to improve the DCWarehouse Automation Suite with extremely important supply chain, manufacturing and distribution features. Our latest release (June 9th, 2017) is completely packed with new functionality to help our distribution and manufacturing clients compete within their industry.
Product Line Restriction – International Orders
Within DCWarehouse© Automation, changes have been made to allow the ability to restrict certain items with a given product line to make it onto a sales order for an International Orders. Not only will it check for this at the time of Sales Order Entry but it can also check for this at the time of Create Pick list in case orders are imported into the system through a Web Interface, EDI Import, etc. This helps prevent sending restricted products to companies or addresses outside of the US.
Manufacturing Work Order Move Material Activity Inquiry
New functionality has been added to be able to easily view move material activity for a given work order. This will allow you to see exactly what materials have been moved for a work order, and for those items if any quantity still needs to be moved.
Commit Sales Order Transactions – Save Settings
Within DCWarehouse© Automation changes have been made to the Commit Sales Order Transactions screen to allow you to check certain boxes as necessary and then save the settings as a default. This makes the process easier. You no longer have to remember to select certain option each time this screen is run.
Sales Order Entry Date Change – Inventory Fields
A change has been made to the Sales Order Entry screen which allows the calculation of the promised and requested dates to be made according to the new DCWarehouse© inventory calendar. In this inventory calendar you will be able to set the actual ship days used in a month excluding weekends, holidays, etc. This provides much tighter communication with your clients and helps you promise the correct shipping date.
