Our team continues to improve the DCWarehouse Automation Suite with extremely important Supply Chain, Manufacturing and Distribution features. Our latest release (September 5, 2017) is completely packed with new functionality to help our distribution and manufacturing clients compete within their industry.
New Features Include:
New Wireless Move Materials Option
Changes have been made to the Manufacturing Wireless Move Materials by Purchase Order Receiving task to allow the movement of materials from one work center bin to another while being able to keep track of where the material will need to be back-flushed upon processing the Labor Entry transaction.
New Manufacturing Work Order Move Materials Inquiry Improvement – Add Time and Destination Bin
Within DCWarehouse© Automation functionality has been added to the Work Order Move Materials Inquiry to be better able to track when you move a product from a cart to the work center. It also shows movement between work center bins.
Wireless Bin Replenishment Using Intermediate Bin
There is a new option added to the Wireless Bin Replenishment Feature to allow the moving of product from stock (source bin) to an intermediate bin (cart) before putting it into the destination bin. This allows you even more control and visibility of your inventory even during transit within your warehouse.
Bin Replenishment – Support Random Bins
Our Bin Replenishment Feature now supports Random Bins in addition to the already supported Fixed Bins.
FedEx® LTL – Separate Account for Freight
Within DCWarehouse© Automation functionality has been made to the FedEx Registration Wizard to support the entry of a separate FedEx LTL account if it is not the same as your parcel FedEx account.
FedEx® Option to Include Taxes
Within DCWarehouse© Automation functionality has been added to FedEx® to allow the ability to include or exclude duties and taxes in the shipping charged when Shopping for Rates and within Package Manager.
Banyan® – Disable Buttons based on Load Status
Functionality has been added to the Banyan® Integration screen to ensure users are only pressing the necessary buttons when allowed. Rules were put into place to determine which buttons will be available to the user based upon the Banyan Load Status .
Wireless Purchase Orders Receiving Cases per Pallet Feature
A new wireless entity has been added allowing you to calculate the number of cases (case UOM) on a given pallet (pallet UOM) for a received item. This can be displayed on the PO Receiving label. In addition, this calculation can also be displayed on the Purchase Order Receiving screen making it easier for you to process the receipt of goods.
Open Order View – Build To Order Kit
Within DCWarehouse© Automation functionality has been added to the Open Order View to be able to easily see BTO kit components and which components of a kit may not be in stock in order to process the pick. This is helpful because currently in Create Pick List you will not be able to create a pick for a kit if not all components are available. This allows you to see what is not available and even allows you to then edit the kit as needed to remove components and then add those components as separate lines to the order in order to pick later.
Carrier Reference Fields for LTL
Within DCWarehouse© Automation functionality has been added to support reference fields when processing LTL shipments using either the UPS® Freight or FedEx® Freight integrations and pallets and packages are used.
Truckload BOL Report – Multiple Order Formatting
Within DCWarehouse© Automation changes were made to the Truckload Bill Of Lading (BOL) report format found within the Truckload Manager to better support truckloads containing multiple orders. (A Very Popular Request!)
DCCredit Card New Warning Feature
For DCWarehouse© Clients using our optional credit card processing module, we’ve made it even more intuitive. If you try to leave the screen before fully settling all credit card transactions, you will be given a warning. This helps to ensure that you don’t accidentally leave the screen before settling important credit card payments.
New Pack-list Invoice Options
New functionality has been added to the Pack List Invoice form found within the DCWarehouse© Package Manager to display the item weight at the line level in addition to the total weight already shown at the bottom of the report. New conversions also translate weight terms to reflect those used in International Shipments.
… and many more features!
