In 2011 we tweeted our first tweet on Twitter, it was “DCSC is excited to join Twitter, Tweet, Tweet”. I never thought that Twitter was going to be such an awesome social media outlet. As a Supply Chain Software Development and Consulting Company who has seen so many things change throughout the past two decades, I should not be surprised. So while we are still getting the hang of it, I thought it might be fun to tell you what we are trying to do on Twitter.
1.) Shipping and WMS Software Solutions
DCSC Inc. is a software publisher focused on manufacturing and distribution. Our ultimate goal is to find North American Companies (With a Global Presence) looking for WMS and or Shipping Solutions.
There, I said it, we bring a lot to the table and we are proud of our products, experience, customers and services.
2.) DCWarehouse Manufacturing and Distribution Customers – News and Events
We want to keep our customers and partners informed on important product news and events.
3.) Software Developers, Consultants and Hardworking People
We are always looking for new talent and therefore will use our Tweets as part of our hunt for future hires when we have openings! Hint, hint … we are currently looking for .Net Software Developers! Please for the love of Goodness Sake we do not want to be contacted by job search agencies.
4.) Kindness and Care
Everyone can benefit from a kind word or good quote. Therefore, we are going to try and spread goodness around. Those tweets are for anyone who cares and we appreciate yours!
5.) Customer Love
If our customers or partners have good news, or a great product and service, we are going to let the world know through Twitter. Here are some examples!
My New Jersey Clients Are New Jersey Strong
TeleDynamics Makes My Day Every Day
Another Great Idea Implemented by Wing Enterprises (AKA Little Giant Ladder)
6.) Supply Chain Knowledge
We know our product is not a perfect fit for every manufacturer or distributor. We still want to share our knowledge because we learn a lot with our implementation experience and knowledge exchange with vendors, carriers, clients and partners.
So you may have guessed it, I’m the primary Tweeter! I love camping, hiking, and dogs and sharing my Supply Chain knowledge and shipping solution expertise.
When I can’t Tweet, Suzan Bostick, pictured below, helps! We also can’t forget Buddy the Bull. He absolutely loves tweeting and is quite the ham!
We also have taken advantage of a super cool tool called Buffer that helps schedule tweets out over time!
