Our team continues to improve the DCWarehouse Automation Suite with extremely important supply chain, manufacturing and distribution features. Our latest release (May 19th, 2017) is completely packed with new functionality to help our distribution and manufacturing clients compete within their industry.
New Features Include:
Manufacturing RF Work Order Maintenance
Changes have been made to allow the ability to access the Work Order Maintenance task from the RF menu. This will allow you to add, edit, or delete a work order step as needed. This will also automatically update the print flag so that the user does not have to go back into the Sage 500 Work Order Menu and print the work order in order to process any transactions such as material issue, material move, or labor entry from the RF for the work order.
RF – MF Move Material via PO Receiving Bin
Within DCWarehouse Automation functionality has been added to the RF Manufacturing Move Materials to support a new movement type called by PO Receiving. This new mode not only supports showing you what PO Received Lines could be moved to a work order but it also allows you to move the materials needed for a work order to a cart first (staging area) and then move it from the cart to the actual work center bin. We now allow a 2 step process if you want to move to the cart as soon as it leaves the original shelf and then have the ability to unload that cart to the work center as necessary.
Encrypted Fields – Validation Changes
Within DCWarehouse© Automation changes have been made to the encrypted fields within the database as described below to ensure if the name changes or the data is moved to a different SQL server this does not affect the data in the system.
New functionality has been added to the Truckload Manager processing to add an option to record handling units, method of payment for LTL shipments and to further automate the Bill of Lading report functionality and printing.
Delivery Confirmation Improvements
Additional improvements have been made to handle FedEx® and UPS® Delivery Confirmation Options.
Create Pick List – New Select Customer Class Option
A new filter selection has been added to the DCWarehouse Create Pick List screen. This new filter will allow you to select certain customer class criteria when creating this pick list. This may be helpful when running a certain promotion for a specific class of orders/customers and those orders need to be selected in one run of the pick list.
DCWarehouse Truck Load – Additional Weight Feature
Functionality has been added to the Truck Load Manager screen that allows you to enter in an additional weight amount with entering or changing existing package weights. It will be added to the total weight for the truckload and will also be included in calculations for the printed BOL. This also works with our Banyan® Integration.
Signature for Touchscreen Changes
Changes have been made to the DCWarehouse Package Manager Signature functionality to increase the size of the signature pop up according to your needs to make this screen for more friendly.
PayPal TLS 1.2 Security Update
In the DCWarehouse© Automation Credit Card Module changes were made to the PayPal® integration to update to the latest web service security patch.
… and many more features.
