In 2007 I had the pleasure to start working with TeleDynamics. They have been such a loyal client over the years. Every customer has their own operations, products and nuances that make them unique. The reason I truly love this customer is because they have heart. This does not mean they are not demanding at times as they should be. This does not mean they are pushovers because they are not. TeleDynamics is a successful wholesale distributor who cares about their employees, their vendors and their own customers tremendously.
Here are some reasons I continue to wish them success.
1.) I get quotes from their COO, Happy Feller, almost every work day in my in box.
Many of these quotes end up being tweeted from our Twitter Account. If I do not receive his quote, I know Happy is on vacation or elsewhere. Not only does he pick out the most meaningful quotes and send them to his friends, vendors, customers and team … he actually thinks very hard about these. This is probably the most unique “service” I have received in a long time.
2.) Their Management Team is extremely creative.
I could give countless examples of how well they run their company but the underlying theme is respect. I see their Operations Manager, Tammy Smith, implement new programs and her method is fantastic. What she does is provide her team members with their own “section” in the warehouse and has them implement a new methodology. By providing some power to her own people, she obtains the results she needs. She is truly a leader who has fine-tuned her approach and it shows. Brad Gonzalez, their Manager of Information Systems, is also a top notch individual. With Brad’s assistance, we have deployed many projects successfully. Some of these were challenging and included multiple vendors and technologies.
3.) TeleDynamics has heart and is more than a client.
They have allowed us to become part of their team and they are part of ours. At a very sad time when we lost an employee who we adored, TeleDynamics, without prompting sent a beautiful plant and they made a video for us with all of their personnel who use our product.
4.) TeleDynamics makes us a better company.
Although we have over twenty years of distribution and manufacturing experience, we still don’t claim to know it all. That is why customers like TeleDynamics are so valuable to us. When new programs come out from our integrated shipping carriers, I always get feedback from TeleDynamics to see how these will affect their business. I also ask them simple questions about day to day life. Whenever I can I will go to bat for them because they deserve continued success.
5.) TeleDynamics is always evolving.
Each time I visit their Distribution Center in Austin, Texas, I see something new. Whether it’s a newly remodeled employee area or a second warehouse, they’ve always got something going on. They are able to reinvent themselves and adjust to continue their growth.
We all have clients that make our day but for years on a consistent basis, this wonderful team inspires me and I appreciate them immensely.
