Our team continues to improve the DCWarehouse Automation Suite with extremely important supply chain, manufacturing, and distribution features. We have a huge brand new release completely packed with new functionality to help our valued distribution and manufacturing clients compete within their industry.
New Features Include:
Item Class International Restriction to Make It Easier for International Business
Within DCWarehouse© Automation, changes have been made to allow the ability to restrict certain items within a given item class to make it onto a sales order for an international order. Not only will we check for this at the time of Sales Order Entry but we can also check for this at the time of Create Pick List in case orders are imported into the system through a web interface, EDI Import, etc. This helps prevent sending restricted products to companies or addresses outside of the US.
New Utility and Tools to Make Sales Order Holds More Manageable
Within DCWarehouse© Automation a new utility has been added to allow you to easily see all orders that have a hold placed on them. This easy visual grid allows you to see the various types of holds (example credit hold, hard header hold, etc.) From the screen you can easily manage the holds including releasing them if you need to. (All security drive of course.) This saves your customer service or accounting team members allot of time in research and key strokes.
New Optional Integration with Amber® Road
We now offer an optional integration with Amber® Road! Are you getting ready to or already doing business across the globe? Due to the ever changing laws in each country along with political challenges, you don’t want to ship the wrong products to the wrong address. This integration allows you to check on any product restrictions before you ship them (Example: Terrorism)!
Package Inquiry – Reprint Carrier Return Label
New functionality has been added to the Package Inquiry to support the reprinting of a carrier return on shipments or packages that had originally been printed. This will work in the same manner as reprinting the carrier label. You can now print these labels even after a shipment is committed by using the Package Inquiry screen.
Performance Inquiries Improved Upon With Even More Capability
This is incredible! Our performance inquires are even more meaningful and beneficial to your organization! Now you can track exactly how long an employee is working within a given wireless task. You can track Idle Time and even more real-time analysis is available to you. Not only does this help you for future planning, but you can get a true picture on any improvements you need to make with your own facility. Who doesn’t want to know who, what, when, and where employees are spending their time? Opportunities for improvement or rewards for production will be open to you with this detailed data.
2D Barcode Functionality to Picking/Packing for the DCWarehouse Pseudo Serial Process
New functionality has been added to support the scanning of a 2D barcode containing the pseudo serial information in both Wave Picking and the Confirm Item to Package process within Warehouse Package Manager. A single 2D barcode holds a significant amount of information while staying legible, even when printed at a small size.
DHL® Commercial Invoice Printer Option
We now can support a separate printer to print the DHL® Commercial Invoice versus the printing of the DHL® shipping label. This allows more flexibility to print the forms using the correct size layouts for each printer.
